Stroke Research Center Bern: Pioneers of present-day stroke care – transformation towards a digital future 

The Stroke Research Center Bern is a world-renowned nucleus of excellence in interdisciplinary stroke research joining efforts of neurology, neuroradiology, neurosurgery, and cardiology. Innovation in patient-oriented clinical research results from holistic incorporation of various data sources into diagnostic and therapeutic questions. The focus of the research center is high-quality clinical research initiating scientific debate and shaping guidelines. Generating hypotheses from the core observational dataset, we subsequently transfer optimized diagnostic and therapeutic management into upcoming clinical trials in cooperation with (N)CTU, SITEM and industry partners. Within an established framework with cross-sectional support services, young researchers are fostered to become tomorrow’s pioneers.
